BCF WINTER BAZAAR 2026 INFORMATION
When and where is the Winter Bazaar?
Friday 20th or Saturday 21st November 2026, 10am – 5pm, at the British Embassy Doha. Each day has the same Grotto, stalls, food and activities, so please book just one day.
Is it free to get in?
Yes, entry is free. We suggest a cash donation of 20QR per adult at the entrance. Santa’s Grotto, children’s activities and the raffle are paid for by cash separately on the day.
Do I need cash or can I pay by card?
Both. BCF activities (the Grotto, children’s games, crafts and the raffle) are cash only. Winter market stalls and food vendors accept card.
Does everyone need a ticket, even babies?
Yes. Every guest, including babies and children, needs a ticket to get through security at the MOI gate. Bring your tickets printed or ready in the Eventbrite app. If your confirmation email hasn’t arrived, check your junk folder.
What ID do I need to bring?
The original, physical QID or passport for every attendee, matching the details used to register. Digital copies will not be accepted. If your details are wrong or if you’ve duplicated information for each attendee, you will be refused entry.
I’ve entered the wrong QID or passport number. Can I change it?
Yes, until Monday 16th November at 7pm. After that, tickets can’t be changed. All QID and car reg details are sent to the MOI for secure entry into the Embassy. Follow Eventbrite’s guide to updating your ticket.
How do I get there? Can I walk in?
Please come by taxi or Uber where possible, as parking is very limited. You can arrive by car or taxi, but you can’t enter the diplomatic compound on foot. If you’re driving, please read the driving and parking directions before you set off.
Can I leave and come back in?
No, this is a single-entry event. Once you leave, you can’t re-enter.
What should I bring?
Tickets (printed or in the Eventbrite app); Physical IDs for everyone; Cash for the activities and the raffle; Hats and suncream; A camping chair if you’d like a seat!
Can children wander around on their own?
No. Parents and guardians must supervise their children at all times.
